This course will provide the learners with the basic knowledge needed to engage in vermicomposting or at the very least use vermicompost in their crops. It is designed primarily for farmers and members of their family so that they will be able to utilize farm wastes and animal manure which are readily available in their farms and use it in vermicomposting. This course is also designed for Agricultural extension Workers so that they will have the necessary knowledge to equip them in assisting farmers who wish to engage in vermicomposting. Success stories of individual persons and communities were included to support the viability of the technology.

The course is developed by ATI-RTC 10 in coordination with its Subject Matter Specialist, Dr. Gerson F. Salvan, the City Agriculturist of Valencia City, Bukidnon.
