Dr. Rolando V. Maningas, who heads the Information Services Section of the ATI - Regional Training Center IV-A, has been elected as one of the officers of the PeLS for three years together with courseware developer Dennis Boyd R. Baltazar of ATI Regional Training Center VIII. Both courseware developers shall be representing the public sector in crafting initiatives related to distance and online learning for the country.

Founded in 2003, PeLS aims to promote collaboration among e-learning practitioners from the different institutions in the country and lead in developing competencies in this field through education and training.
