Another great news from the Farmer’ Contact Center (FCC)! Smart and Talk ‘N Text subscribers may now call the center’s toll-free hotline 1-800-10-982-AGRI (1-800-10-982-2474).

This is a step taken by the FCC to bring its services closer to the farmers, fishers, extension workers and agri-entrepreneurs. Aside from being able to call the FCC’s toll-free hotline, Smart and Talk ‘N Text subscribers will only be charged a flat rate of Php 7.27 per call. This service was guaranteed by the Philippine Long Distance Telecommunications Company (PLDT) during the contract signing held recently.

The FCC may also be called through 982-AGRI (982-2474) using Metro Manila landlines and 0920-946-AGRI (0920-946-2474) using mobile phones. Standard call rates apply when calling this mobile number while it is free of charge when calling the toll-free number using provincial PLDT landlines.

Furthermore, clients may also opt to text or email their queries to the FCC through the following: 391-DA (391-32) for Smart and Talk ‘N Text; 0920-946-AGRI for Globe, TM and Sun Cellular; and info@e-extension.gov.ph for emails.
