farmers' contact center launchedIt's one of our finest hours! ATI's Team Knowledge -- Dir. Saliot, Niet Arceo and Pam Mappala -- are now in the US following an invitation from the US Dept. of Agriculture to participate in a series of workshops. These are on exciting new information and communication technologies that will help extension managers more effectively design and deliver extension knowledge in developing countries.

This file photo shows Pamela Mappala, ATI Dir. Asterio Saliot, Niet Arceo with former Agriculture Secretary, now Congressman-elect, Arthur Yap at the formal launching of the Farmers' Contact Center, held at the Bohol Tropics, Tagbilaran City, Bohol, on November 28, 2009. Part of the ATI team's presentation will focus on it's current experience with the Farmers' Contact Center particularly the use of text. Pam is Asst. Chief of ATI's Knowledge Products Management Division (KPMD) and acts as one of this site's Admin Team; Niet is Chief of KPMD. KPMD directly maintains and manages e-Learning and the Farmers' Contact Center. (Photo by Dennis Boyd Baltazar)

We all wish them a safe and successful trip.
