cabbage technotips Cabbage is a powerhouse of vitamins and minerals. It is rich in calcium, iodine, iron, sulfur, folate, phosphorus, and potassium. It also has vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, E, C, and K.

Cabbage also has "indole-3 carbinol," an antioxidant that helps detoxify the liver. It is also rich in insoluble and soluble fibers. Insoluble fiber helps promote regular bowel movements while soluble fiber helps increase the number of beneficial bacteria in the gut.
