Jackfruit offers a meaty texture and is an excellent meat substitute on a variety of dishes. When unripe, its neutral taste can be paired with any sauce or seasoning flavor.
Jackfruit may be low on protein but it is packed with nutrients like fiber, magnesium, and potassium. Its seeds may help reduce levels of low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol, reducing the risk of a heart attack or stroke.
