 Plastic products are very common in our daily lives. Plastic waste is one of the many types of wastes that take long to decompose. Normally, plastics take up to 1,000 years to decompose in landfills. Plastic bags are said to take 10-20 years to decompose, while plastic bottles take 450 years. Simply neglecting proper disposal of plastic waste will greatly impact our surroundings. To improve our quality of living, we will have to go back to the basics: reduce, reuse, and recycle.
