Here's how to personally meet online learners: by chance, unexpectedly.

We got that chance eyeball with e-learners from La Union during a workshop in Baguio. We got to meet (in the picture, seated left to right) Rebecca Sabado, MA of LGU Bauang; Corazon Valdez, AT of Pugo; Gaudencio Quezada, MAO of Burgos. While Ms. Valdez and Mr. Quezada are registered users, Ms. Sabado has yet to sign-up. And the rudiments of access have been shared gladly by our two online learners. They both got their orientation from workshops conducted by ATI-RTC 1's Mariel Dacapias and Jun Martinez.

The three were participants to the Disaster Reduction and Risk Management Workshop conducted by FAO under the FAO-DA implemented project Immediate Agricultural Assistance to Flood-affected Farming Communities due to Tropical Storm Ketsana & Typhoon Parma in Region 1 and Cordillera Administrative Region & Support to the Agriculture Emergency Rehabilitation Coordination. This was held at the Child and Family Service Philippines in Baguio City from October 19 - 20, 2010.
