The Agricultural Training Institute welcomes our new agent at the Farmers' Contact Center - Adelfa Mae B. Guico.  Mae is a licensed agriculturist with specialization in animal science. A graduate of University of the Philippines Los Banos, Mae recently worked for the Philippine Swine Industry Research and Development Foundation, Inc. where she was involved in swine performance monitoring project. Prior to that, she used to be a trial coordinator for the Adisseo Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. where she worked with a 45-day broiler experiment involving enzyme supplementation in corn-soya based diets. Mae's related coursework include animal production (swine, poultry and dairy), animal nutrition, meat processing, slaughter and meat evaluation, animal breeding and genetics, anatomy and physiology of animals, livestock sanitation and disease control, as well as computer application in feed formulation. Being a former Iskolar ng Bayan having studied in UPLB, Mae would like to give back to the country by working for the government and help especially the farmers with the knowledge and skills she gained from the university and from her previous work experiences.

Dear mam: Alam ko maganda ung hangarin nyo pra sa aming mga mag-uuma (farmers)..sna po yung interest ng govt sa pagsuporta sa mga farmers ay tataas din ..kasi ang katotohanan ay isa parin ang farmers sa pinakakamababang antas ng lipunan..nakakalungkot po..i know na madami pa kyong kayang gawin..Sana umunlad na ang kabuhayan naming mga magsasaka.. God bless us all. |

Hello Esengwa Victor! We regret that we cannot enroll you at this time. Our online courses are currently available only to Filipinos residing in the Philippines or OFWs/OCWs at least returning within two months because of the required activities in the courses. Also, the courses have recommendations that are best suitable to Philippine conditions. You can, however, acccess the digital resources, post and participate in the different forums when you register in the site. Should you have any other queries, please don't hesitate to contact us. Hi Loki. For enrollment basically this only available for Filipinos locally and abroad provided he or she is returning to the Philippines. Foreign enrollees can be admitted as long as he or she is currently working or staying in the Philippines. If you have met either of these requirements you can request for an enrollment key of the course you wish to take. Thank you :) |

Hi po, a pleasant day. I am so thankful about this page which offers FREE e-learning courses and modules but unfortunately I would like to drop or retake the course on Sweet Potato because I wasn't able to understand the instructions hence I failed and I found the module confusing since the links are not clearly given or shown.
