The Agricultural Training Institute is proud to announce that the ATI-International Training Center on Pig Husbandry (ATI-ITCPH) has been chosen as the 2009 Pagasa Awardee for the Group Category of the Philippine Civil Service Commission. The ATI-ITCPH is sharing this prestigious award with the Camarines Norte Water District.

ATI-ITCPH is one of the e-Learning offices of the Department of Agriculture's e-Extension Program for Agriculture and Fisheries and the international training center of the Agricultural Training Institute which specializes on pig husbandry. Aside from regular training courses on swine production, the ATI-ITCPH also offers seven modules on the Online Course on Pig Husbandry.

The CSC Pagasa Award is conferred on an individual or group of individuals for their outstanding contributions resulting from an idea or performance that directly benefit more than one department of the government though not of such extraordinary or exceptional degree to merit the Presidential Lingkod Bayan Award.
