QUEZON CITY -- The Agricultural Training Institute, the training and extension arm of the Philippine Department of Agriculture, holds it's 27th founding anniversary this week gathering the center directors of its network of training centers for this event.

Main highlights for the week-long event include the ATI 2013 Annual Review and Planning Workshop for 2015, the inauguration of the ATI's Rural Development Education Center followed by a symposium on agriculture and fisheries extension.

The ATI is the lead implementing agency of the Philippine e-Extension Program, where e-learning and the Farmers' Contact Center are its major delivery channels.
