ATI Holds AFE Symposium

QUEZON CITY -- The Agricultural Training Institute, the training and extension arm of the Philippine Department of Agriculture, is currently holding its Agriculture and Fisheries Extension Symposium cum EHRDP Scholars' Paper Presentations as part of its 27th anniversary celebration. 
ATI's AFE Symposium 2014

This year's theme is Extension Innovations for Sustainable Development and will tackle mostly on adaptation and mitigation initiatives for climate change affecting the agriculture sector.

Guest resource speakers include Dr. Rowena DT. Baconguis of University of the Philippines Los Banos, Dr. Catalino A. Blanche of US Department of Agriculture's National Institute of Food and Agriculture, and Dr. Manuel S. Tan, Jr. of Cagayan State University's Graduate School. 

The symposium is being held at the Rural Development Education Center, ATI's newly inaugurated conference building in Quezon City.
