CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – As the lead implementing agency for the e-Extension Program for Agriculture and Fisheries , the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) is looking at the Farmers’ Information and Technology Services (FITS) Center to be an e-Learning hub where clients can access its online courses.

With this in mind, ATI conducted a one-day training on e-Learning techsupport that will enable the FITS Center staff to be acquainted on the standard operating procedures of e-learning. They were also briefed on their key responsibilities in handling their walk-in clients who want to access e-Learning.

The training included discussion on the relevance of the FITS center in e-extension, review of e-Learning course structure, r oles of the FITS manager as e-learning TechSupport vis-à-vis the Farmers’ Contact Center and a detailed walkthrough of the e-Learning site.

FITS Center staff from the different municipalities of Northern Mindanao attended the training which was held last May 18, 2015 at the STI College, Cagayan de Oro City.
