Good news! The Text Support of the Farmers' Contact Center is now open to all networks.

Aside from Smart and Talk&Text subscribers, all non-Smart subscribers like Globe, Touch Mobile, Sun Cellular among others can now send in their queries on agriculture and fisheries technologies including concerns on this site through text messages to the Farmers' Contact Center.

For Smart and Talk&Text subscribers, just send your message to 391-DA (or 391-32).

For non-Smart subscribers, send your message to 0920-946AGRI (0920-9462474).

The Farmers' Contact Center is the alternative delivery channel for farm and business advisory services which caters to voice calls and text messages, aside from e-mails and other online communication such as instant messaging and online forum. Launched last November 28, 2009 in Tagbilaran, Bohol, this is a new service being implemented by the Department of Agriculture (DA) through the Agricultural Training Institute in collaboration with the partner institutions in the Department of Science and Technology, local government units, state colleges and universities and other stakeholders in agriculture and fisheries extension.

You also may contact the Farmers' Contact Center through the following hotline numbers:

Call: 982AGRI (982-2474) for Metro Manila or 1-800-10-982AGRI (or 1-800-10-982-2474) for provincial toll-free calls using PLDT landlines.
