Hello!
I am quite new here, however, I already have quite a better understanding on the different agricultural areas not on the practical expertise though. Aside from that, a will of good fortune knocked on my door, opening to a world of opportunities for appreciating and understanding others culture and agricultural practices as well. Moreover, it is during the past few months that I was able to look at the agricultural situation of our country as well, an understanding on the national situation, the how's and why's of the successes and the failures of our country regarding this matters. I was truly at the edge of hope for the agricultural sector of our country (reasons that I prefer to keep to myself). Looking at the bright side still, I know there is still much hope and areas for improvement, and upon poring at this stuffs, the agricultural sector of our country should increase its communication strategies, as one necessary key for boosting the morale of the stakeholders and of the sector as well. Communication bridges the gaps unto which we can provide the much needed improvements in the sector. Addressing the problems that the national government can provide cannot be fully appreciated if these solutions do not even provide the root problems of the sector. Communication though do not rely solely on the Agricultural Extensionists, the challenge towards the improvement of this sector involves every one from the farmers to the national government. Each one of us has a role and for this role to be realized we need to be able to reach out to others and play the part, and that reaching out needs communication skills that will enable us to be heard and and to hear others as well. A simple contribution for the stepping up into the ladder of development.
*I had finished so far the Basic Agricultural Marketing Extension Course and is planning to take all the courses under Social Technology and under some subjects. |
