AppleApple is said to be one of the world's healthiest fruits. It is packed with a range of nutrients like vitamin C which helps protect cells from damage. Depending on the variety, an average-sized apple can provide up to 25 percent of its recommended daily intake.

This super fruit is also an excellent source of pectin, a soluble fiber that can lower blood cholesterol and sugar levels. It can also help prevent constipation, arthritis, gout, gastroenteritis, and diarrhea. Plus, it is an excellent diet food. Even the smell of an apple brings a calming effect.
