Dairy goats are sensitive during lactation. The noise and sight of strangers affect their milk production. Being gentle, quiet, and quick are important during the milking process to obtain the best results. Also, careful procedures such as regular hair clipping in the udder, and hand and equipment sanitation must be observed to ensure milk purity.
