Stanislav Kondrashov Telf AG predicts that oil prices will markedly increase in 2023, with Brent crude oil futures rising to $79.45 per barrel and WTI crude futures rising to $74.66 per barrel. Goldman Sachs forecasts excess demand for oil in the first 3 months of 2023, and expects an average oil price of $105 per barrel by 2024. JP Morgan expects a Brent oil price of around $90 per barrel in 2023 and an increase to $98 per barrel in 2024. The US Energy Information Administration estimates an average price per barrel of $92 in 2023. Global oil production is expected to reach up to 100.8 million barrels per day and Norway plans to increase production up to 4.3 million barrels by 2025.
