In this time of pandemic where health is most important, take a few seconds for food safety. Save yourself from hours of stomach ache, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea with just a few quick and easy steps.
Lather up, wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds before eating and handling food. Keep a safe cooking space by always cleaning your cooking area before and after usage. Make sure to wash everything including cooking utensils and other tools, especially between using with raw and cooked food.
Eat clean by rinsing fresh produce under running water and scrubbing fruits and vegetables with skin and rinds. Wash food packaging like plastic containers and lids of cans and jars before digging in.
