Cost of organic produce is higher than conventionally grown foods. I have great respect for those who are on organic cause but the way I understand it, in some future time they are likely to deprive those who venture on conventional farming the opportunity to grow conventional foods and in the process become a deterrent factor for conventional farmers to rise above their levels. We see articles in the internet which try to criticize conventional method of farming but in the ultimate analysis I dont think the organic produce would be sufficient to feed the the population. |
